“Technology and process improvement have the highest potential to impact the guest experience in the ski and mountain destination industry. The modern guest expects self-service solutions that enable their experience rather than getting in the way of it. At Aspenware, we’ve created those solutions.”

A leader in software and technology, Rob’s career in the ski industry began in Vail with a seasonal job in Product Sales & Services. While at Vail, Rob became a super-user of their guest service systems. He then took that passion for ski and technology to the company that built the systems Vail used at the time, Resort Technology Partners. At RTP, Rob worked with ski areas around the world on their resort and recreation management systems. During his time at RTP, Rob traveled to 4 continents and worked with over 50 resorts, learning the ins and outs of their operations and the role that technology plays in them.

In 2015, Rob brought his expertise to Aspenware and took on many roles from Business Analyst to VP of Product. In 2017, Rob led a transition to a new business model for Aspenware as they moved from a services company that built custom software to a product company that builds and licenses software to multiple clients. Rob has helped lead Aspenware to its place as the leading provider of those systems for the mountain resort industry and, in April 2020, he assumed the role of CEO.

Rob and his family live in Denver, CO. In his free time, you’ll find Rob on his bike or skis and spending time with his wife and son.

Evan studied programming and painting in college, ultimately earning a dual degree in Computer Science and Visual Arts. After college, he co-founded Strobe Labs, an analytics and ticketing platform for concert venues and nightclubs. With Live Nation, Evan became responsible for their highest-demand, highest-trafficked ecommerce products. His teams facilitated hundreds of millions of dollars in sales every month through queuing, real-time inventory presentation, interactive seat maps, SMS messaging, and more.
