Aspenware Welcomes WinSport
We are delighted to announce that Aspenware has partnered with WinSport, a premier winter sports and recreation destination in Calgary, Canada. This partnership is a testament to our joint commitment to enhancing the winter sports experience for all guests.
WinSport’s Canada Olympic Park
Nestled in the picturesque city of Calgary, WinSport owns and operates Canada Olympic Park (COP), one of the key legacy facilities from the 1988 Winter Olympics, offering year-round mountain sports in an urban setting. WinSport’s assets include a ski and snowboard hill, with one of the largest snow schools in western Canada. In addition to offering sport and recreation opportunities from grassroots to Olympic-caliber athletes, WinSport’s ski and snowboard hill includes a world-class slopestyle course and halfpipe.
A not-for-profit organization, WinSport promotes sport excellence, physical activity, health, and wellness for Canadians of all ages, stages, abilities, and backgrounds in a safe environment, with over 1.2 million visitors annually to COP. WinSport also operates the Markin MacPhail Centre, featuring four ice arenas, an event space, and Nordic training facilities in the Canadian Rockies.
Enhanced Ecommerce Platform
WinSport went live last month with a new Aspenware ecommerce shop offering individual and family season pass products and various skate and hockey lesson products. WinSport makes excellent use of Aspenware's attribute descriptions, which communicate the skills required for each level on their Youth Learn to Skate page. Future ecommerce offerings will include camps, special programs, and various other recreation and sporting activities.
WinSport also leveraged Aspenware's integration with 1RISK to manage their liability waivers. This integration enables them to digitally manage releases of liability, including electronic signature capture, managing minor and adult waivers, and giving guests the option to email waivers to others for signing. Over the first two months of use, WinSport has achieved 86% season pass waiver completion without any human intervention (on approximately 6200 passes sold in the first two months of use).
