Aspenware welcomes Pat Eason to the team!
May 10th, 2021
Pat Eason has joined Aspenware as Senior Front-End Engineer and will be responsible for the front-end development of new and existing features across all our products. In addition to bringing a wealth of experience as a full-stack developer with an emphasis on frontend development, he also brings his enthusiasm for making cool things for real people that impact their day-to-day lives.
“I’ve spent a chunk of time in the healthcare industry creating software across a variety of systems and technologies – where I learned techniques for creating scalable, resilient software. I feel that those experiences along with a desire to create great user experiences will help elevate Aspenware’s status as a market leader.” Pat said.
⛷️ First foray in ski: Having grown up in Alaska, he learned to cross-country ski but has not been downhill skiing yet. He says that will change this coming winter! Water sports like kayaking are more the speed in Western North Carolina, where Pat currently resides.
💖 Passion: Pat loves making things and having the freedom to experiment with cool technology. He is excited to have an impact in an expansive field – and get to see first-hand how what he has built is used.
📊 Exciting Experience he brings to Aspenware: As a full-stack developer with an emphasis on frontend development, he has worked on innovative projects like a HIPAA compliant real-time collaboration platform for LTPAC practices and the first Japanese domestic competitor to Markitwire for NIKKEI subscribers.
🏠 Home base: Asheville, NC
😊Fun Fact: Pat has travelled to nearly every state except Hawaii and Maine, and has played violin and viola (in and out of orchestras) since 2001.
Welcome Pat! We are thrilled you have joined our Aspenware Team.
