Aspenware Welcomes Mike Buelt as Senior Program Manager
Feb 1st, 2023

Aspenware is excited to welcome Mike Buelt as Senior Program Manager. Mike brings a wide range of program management experience from helping small businesses grow and mature to working within the structures of a well-established company. Passionate about process improvement, efficiency, and organizational development, he’s looking forward to contributing his talents to enhancing Aspenware’s existing ecommerce products while also helping to develop the next generation Aspenware suite.

“I’m excited to join a talented team of like-minded individuals who are as passionate about the outdoors as I am.”

⛷️ First foray in ski:

After completing initial ski lessons, Mike decided to stretch his new skills by skiing between some trees and trying a jump. Naturally, he crashed and fell to the ground. While he was lying there pondering his choices, a snowboarder went off the same jump that he had just tried; and flew right over him. Mike realized right then and there that he wanted to be a snowboarder. He immediately went down the hill to the ski shop, traded in his skis for a board, and never looked back.

💖 Favorite outdoor activities:

Mike is an avid outdoorsman who will go camping any chance he gets. He also loves to hike, snowshoe and snowmobile.

🏠 Home base:

Mike lives in Littleton, CO.

😊Fun Facts:

When indoors, Mike enjoys cooking. He tells us that you’ll typically find Mexican, Italian or Indian food coming out of his kitchen as he loves spice! His mother, who showed him how to cook, is his inspiration in the kitchen; as well as his grandma, who absolutely hated cooking but was exceptionally good at it.

A rare Colorado native, Mike grew up in Littleton, fairly close to where he lives now. The memories he’s made in the mountains are a big reason he chose to stay in Colorado and now he wants to share that history and experience with his own kids.

Mike is also a vinyl record devotee and has a great appreciation for obscure music. Over the years, he’s acquired a few collections from other collectors, and many of those have contained some rare gems. He’s got quite a few limited releases and test pressings of 45s from Bob Marley, The Beatles, Michael Jackson, and more.
