Aspenware Welcomes Jen Parke as Full Stack Engineer
Sep 29th, 2022

Aspenware is excited to welcome Jen Parke as our new Full Stack Engineer. With 10 years of experience as a full stack software engineer, she brings a diverse background in both frontend and backend software development as well as application security, accessibility, and database development. Jen specializes in focusing on the simplification of processes while maintaining a great user experience. She’s eager to bring these skills and foci to Aspenware products as we continue to innovate exciting solutions for the ski industry.

“I love to learn new things and the world of software engineering is constantly evolving with new challenges and opportunities. I am also passionate about solving problems in a way that is easy for people to use.”

⛷️ First foray in ski:

One winter during her teen years Jen’s family decided to try skiing at Crystal Mountain in Washington. Her first instructions were given to her while riding the ski lift! She managed to survive her first run down and has been hooked on the sport ever since.

💖 Favorite outdoor activities:

When not busy creating amazing guest experiences for Aspenware users, you’ll find Jen mountain biking, hiking, camping, skiing, fishing, or playing golf.

🏠 Home base:

Jen lives in Boise, ID.

😊Fun Fact:

As part of a team-building exercise that pushed people out of their comfort zones, Jen and her colleagues learned how to do the solo dance from Napoleon Dynamite. (Don’t think for a moment that we aren’t going to want to see that!)
