Aspen Skiing Company and Alterra Mountain Company Acquire Leading Ecommerce and Guest-Experience Technology Provider, Aspenware
DENVER, CO, May 12, 2022 – Today Aspenware announced it has been acquired by a Joint Venture formed between Alterra Mountain Company and Aspen Skiing Company. Aspenware will remain a standalone business with ongoing operations to serve its clients and the industry, while maintaining its current staff and leadership. The acquisition will provide enhanced access to capital investment and allow Aspenware to further accelerate its roadmap to enhance the guest experience at mountain resorts across the globe.
Led by CEO Rob Clark, the team at Aspenware has spent over two decades providing innovative technology solutions to the ski industry. Today, Aspenware is the go-to resource for over 50 ski resorts, providing a range of products and services that help its clients streamline back-office systems and provide guests with leading e-commerce and on-mountain digital experiences.
