Oh Canada! Aspenware welcomes Sun Peaks to our family of resorts.
Oct 7th, 2020
With the goal of providing customers with a guest-friendly online shopping experience that is fully integrated with the resort point of sale system, Sun Peaks Resort has launched Aspenware Commerce as their new ecommerce platform.
Centrally located in the Interior region of British Columbia, Sun Peaks Resort is Canada’s second-largest ski area and Aspenware’s first Canadian destination. Sun Peaks launched its Seasons Pass products on Aspenware Commerce in early July.
Sun Peaks started by launching their Alpine Season Pass and the Family Pass. The family pass really took advantage of our attribute based model and allows families of all sizes to purchases passes at a discounted rate. These passes have now sold out and the team is working to add additional Mountain products to the store, such as lift tickets, equipment rentals and lessons.
Along with being Aspenware’s first Canadian customer, Sun Peaks Resort is also the first resort to implement 1RISK waivers into the Aspenware Commerce purchase flow, allowing Sun Peaks to manage all their waivers in one central platform.
Sun Peaks will also be implementing RFID lift access this winter and taking advantage of the Aspenware Commerce RFID reload capabilities, and integration with the Skidata Skiosk’s for RFID media pick up.
From our CEO, Rob Clark: “Aspenware is proud to welcome Sun Peaks as our first Canadian Commerce customer. The Sun Peaks team has done a spectacular job customizing their store to ensure that their brand is continued from their main site all the way through to the shopping and cart experience. This strong branding and personalized guest experience is essential for maximizing online conversion rates.”
“Having a commerce platform that connects multiple key systems really helps create efficiencies within our business structure. In the current environment, we anticipate online sales to continue growing and evolving as we enhance the digital experience for our guests.” – Aidan Kelly, CMO, Sun Peaks Resort.
