Senior Backend Developer (.NET)

Location: Denver, CO or Remote 

This person reports to: Director of Software Development

What You Will Do: 

  • Design, develop, and implement world-class resort technology solutions 
  • Execute on development of new features, refactoring of existing features, and defect mitigation on the backend of our .NET stack 
  • Translate business requirements into systems design and clean code 
  • Develop software solutions iteratively and incrementally 
  • Engage and interact frequently with a cross functional team including Client Stakeholders, Project Managers, Designers, Business Analysts, Architects, and other Developers 
  • Actively work with the Product Management team to help build strong relationships with our clients and to better understand business requirements 
  • Contribute to technical documentation writing 

 

Who You Are: 

You have advanced coding skills and are able to convey product functionality and configuration requirements in writing. You love working on a team day in and day out, working closely with developers to provide fast feedback, early in the development process. You can quickly understand complex software systems and software documentation.  

You are detail-oriented — you notice subtle deviations from business objectives and suggest solutions. You understand how new business objectives fit into the larger picture. You are passionate about ensuring high levels of product quality that meet or exceed stated business objectives. You are a self-starter who can develop and implement new procedures. 

You love sharing your knowledge and are willing to be mentored by those who have developed experience in areas new to you. You love working with and learning from team members 

Ideally this person has: 

  • 5+ years of software development experience 
  • Advanced C# and ASP.NET Core experience 
  • Microservice development – practical knowledge, cloud deployment in various scenarios 
  • Advanced knowledge of:  
  • Object-oriented programming 
  • Git source control in a team 
  • Testing frameworks 
  • Ability to collaborate with peers on a project to meet project/product needs 

 

Bonus Points: 

  • Experience with e-commerce and/or hospitality products 
  • API first design 
  • Python 
  • Experience developing a one cart e-commerce product

Salary (for Colorado applicants): the salary range for this position is $120,000 – $150,000. 

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate salary range is listed above. The actual offer will be determined by various factors including experience, skills, and internal equity among our team.
